Yan Chai Hospital Law Chan Chor Si Primary School
Design Concept
The school wanted to create a music room with the feel of a concert hall, yet still suitable for young students. Pivot incorporated concert hall elements like undulating ceilings and elevated platforms. We also added lively, dynamic musical note light fixtures and a graffiti-style feature wall. For the exterior wall, we installed real musical instruments for students to play with as they pass by, helping to spark their interest in music.

- Emulsion paint on walls, wood-grain fire-resistant laminate, feature wall with wood trim and musical note decorations

- Sprayed ceiling paint and decorative false ceiling, LED light strips, pendant lights, ceiling lights, spotlights, and wall sconces
- Corridor exterior wall with musical-themed feature wall and door
- Furniture (wooden platforms with hinged storage, instrument cabinets, teacher's desk with drawers)
- Smart classroom interactive blackboard (responsive to both finger and stylus)
